Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)
I actually enjoyed this remake. It has some fine actors and great atmosphere in the movie. I love the action in the movie (boy, it’s been a while since I watched an action movie!) But in order to enjoy this movie, DO NOT use your brains, because the story could be a lot better!

The King of Comedy
Robert de Nero is doing his job okay, but I did not like this film a lot. The story is not bad, but it is not shown in an interesting way. I got bored several times.

Syriana
I had really great expectations for this movie. George Clooney did a great job, but I have a problem with the way the story is built up. The theme is already a quite complex story (oil companies and states are doing every dirty trick in order to make a profit), so why make it even more complexed???? The script has a lot of potential, so it is a shame it doesn’t get out in a most effective way.
