I really enjoyed this movie directed by Danish director Per Fly. It’s about a dominating mother who pursuedes her to take over the company after father’s death. The story contains also dilemma about prefering business or family, money or love, question of dedication and infidelity.

Ulrich Thomsen is really good as Christoffer, Lisa Werlinder as his wife and Ghita Nørby as the mother.

“Arven” (eng.: Inheritance) is a second movie of Per Fly’s trilogy about three classes of Danish society. First one “Bænken” was about a vagabond and alcholic, “Arven” about high society and “Drabet” about middle class. I have only seen this movie so I am looking forward to see other two. “Arven” is definitely one of the best Danish movies (if not the best) I have seen.
