I sat one day in my room in the basement. It’s January 2002 in Kolding, the southern Denmark, and I am listening to this song About to Crash (Reprise), contemplating on the album’s anti-Bush/anti-war in Afghanistan-lyrics. Suddenly, at appx. 3:10 I was struck by 'lightning', materialized as a guitar solo and drum pedals.

I was hit many times, especially by that sudden rhythm change. And it only lasted for a few seconds, but that short moment mesmerized me and it made me listen to it many times.

I bet many people wouldn’t even pay attention to it, but that rhythm break just makes some profound earth-shaking for me; as if it changes a gear and reveals the secret of the world… Nerdy? Yes. Crazy? You bet.
